a big issue for me this year has been what to do about the mice problem in my new brooklyn apartment. in texas it was the mosquitos. this september i will have been here for a year. i took my first full time job working for an mtv2 show called wondershowzen. got a new energy, calmed down a bit, did a lot of exploring. in austin i had to put to rest the freshupclub, a gallery i had been running for about two and a half years. most of my stuff is still in storage there and i miss a lot of people. i got to go back once and it wasn't the same or at least i didn't think so. still i have to get over the urge to pack up and go back almost daily. and then sometimes i wish i had grown up in the sixties.

i started doing performances recently where I do very bad standup comedy/ political rants while being backed by a carnival band and alan watts recordings. i have no idea what i am doing. i just installed a show, called 'specifc things', of my drawings and a video at a bar in chinatown. i'm playing basketball every tuesday at seven and love netflix. looking forward to seeing the cloisters and visiting my friend ryan in michigan.
